System Overview
The Fund Accounting System is an integrated budgetary and encumbrance based true fund accounting program. Modules include: General Ledger/Budget, Accounts Payable/Purchase Order, Payroll, Cash Receipts, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Tax Administration and Utility Billing. NEMRC also provides additional modules for local government that include: Voter Registration, Animal Registration, Land Records, Cemetery, Marriage/Civil Unions and our new MicroSolve CAMA (computer assisted mass appraisal) software suite.
The programs are based on an open design concept using Visual FoxPro data structures. This design enables the end user to create custom reports based on specific information. Open design systems have been adopted as a de facto standard for software development. NEMRC has used an open design concept for twenty years.
